Florida Cocoa Beach winter 2011

     The Wakulla suites on Cocoa Beach is my favourite place to stay when I go on vacation. My family and I always drive there. It takes  2 and a half days to get there and 2 and a half days to get back home. When I am on the resort, there are lots of different types  of  gorgeous  plants and trees.  The outdoor pool that they have there is always very warm but not too warm! There are also shuffleboard courts, an arcade, lots of barbeques and a beach right across the street.
       First thing I do to get ready to go to Florida is picking out what clothes I will wear on the drive there and back, and when I am in Florida. I give all those to my Mom and Dad, and then, they pack them away in a suitcase. Next, I have to pack things in the toiletries bag that I will need when I am in Florida like my tooth brush.  Last, I pack things for the drive down, back and in Florida like my iPod touch.  Once everyone is packed, my dad takes it all and loads it into the back of my car.
        Well, I really love the drive there and back but it is so long! I like the drive for a few reasons. One is that I get to see all kind of different scenery! Another thing is stopping at all kinds of GREAT restaurants such as the Golden Corral! I love the Golden Corral. Another restaurant  we usually stop at is Cracker Barrel.
       After 2 and a half days of driving, we arrive at a hotel in Panama City. We went to Panama City because my family, the clinches and the Allabys were going to see the new Grand Manan ferry being built. Uncle Eric called the shipyard before we left and arranged for us to get a tour. It was much larger than our current ferry on the inside. It had a lot of different stuff than what we have on our current ferry such as a double ramp, a ramp, an arcade, a dog kennel room, a dog play room, a nursery and a lazy boy lounge.
       All that driving must of paid off because finally! We arrive at the Wakulla! First things first. My dad checks in to the resort. After that we have to unload all the stuff that we packed and take it to our room. Once we’re all unpacked, it is about 5:45. So we head down to Winn Dixie to get groceries. We get just about everything that we will need for the first week.
       As soon as everyone gets back from the Winn Dixie, we are all ready to start enjoying our vacation at the Wakulla! Stacey, Todd, Willow and Whitney stayed right down the hall.
           We decided to go to a theme park called Aquatica. We went with the Clinches and the Knights. It was the best water park  ever! They had a beach right in front of a wave pool that  was calm for 10 minutes and it had tons of waves for 10 minutes. My Mom had the thrill of her life on a crazy water slide! I went on the same one 3 times with my Dad and 2 times with Willow. It must have been my favourite ride that I ever rode!
          Aquatica was a BLAST!  I had a great time. My family and I also went mini golfing after we got back. But one of the highlights of my trip (as always!) was going go carting! At the go carting place, they have an arcade on the inside and if you win the games you get a certain amount of tickets. I gave my tickets to the cashier and he told me how many I had. They have tons of prizes that you can trade your tickets in for. I got HUGE sunglasses and a boomerang. After we are done in the arcade, we can finally go go carting! “Yay!” I am not tall enough to drive a cart on the crazy track but luckily, I was allowed to go on the crazy track with my Dad and there is another smaller track that I could go on. I went on the crazy track in the same cart as my dad 3 times and went on the other track with willow in separate cars, 2 times. I had a good time there too.
          I did some other things too such as Playing basketball, going swimming, going to the beach, playing shuffle board, and playing with Heilynn, Devon, Bailey and Willow. I’d tell you about all that but it would probably take up too much room.
          Well, I had a great time in Florida but not everything lasts for ever. On the way back, it didn't take as long as the way there because we didn’t stop at Panama City.

       This weekend, Mom, Dad and Dani are away for her basketball games. So I am staying with Grammy and Grampy Morse. I woke up at Grammy and Grampy's house and got dressed. I had eggs and toast for breafast. After that, I sat down in a rocking chair and played a parking game on my Ipod with Miley on my lap. I finished up on my game then I started helping Grampy with his GPS. He needed an adapter for his car so you can charge the GPS in the car. we got that at Home Hardware, came back and had lunch. For lunch I had vegatarian soup. We all wat "house Guest" then some "Columbo". For supper, we went to Truman and Margret Dakin's house for Pizza. Then I went back to Grammy's house, watched some of Beverley hillbillys and went to bed

Thursday January the 6th 2011

       I had a good day today. When I woke up I  had my breakfast. Then we headed straight to the revenue office to get Me and my sister's IDs done. In my ID I wore my leather jacket that I bought away. Guess when both of them expire? Our birthdays! When we went home I looked over  my ID. Then we went to drop Dani off at her basket ball practice. I watched TV while I waited for her to get back home. Mom left to get her. She came back with My cousin Abby and and Danielle. My cousin brought cookies for my sister and she let me have one. Abby Made them herself. A while later I went for a bike ride to the end of cedar street, up to Stanley and Celia's house, through the field (which was covered with ice) out back of Grammy and grampy's house, and finally back to my house. after that I didnt feel that good. I was also cold. But I got over it and headed to basketball practice around 1:50 PM. At basketball practice I had a good time. I got super exited for my game against harvey on the 9th. When I got home again, It was 3:30 PM. I played "Mario Party 8" with the girls on wii. For supper I had greco pizza. Abby joined us. After we were done, I turned on some music. Everyone talked for a while. Then at 7:20 PM, our old pastor, Pastor Dave came to our house to practice a song with my mom for Caleb and Sable's wedding. When they were done practicing, Abby, Dad, Dani, Mom, Pastor David and I all sat down at the table and talked. I got an I pod touch for Christmas and Pastor David had an I phone 4 so we talked on face time just to try it out. I helped him with some stuff on his I phone like, updating apps and putting on find my I phone. It was around 10:30PM so I started getting ready for bed. Abby had left by that time. I went to bed a little after 11:00PM.

Mill Rats Game Away

My family and I went away on the first boat for a Mill Rats basketball game at Harbour Station in Saint John. When we got  to Saint John we went our hotel, the Hampton inn. After that we went to Peter and Natalie's house I liked their house. I played with Toby, their dog. Then I had a cookie. When we left we went to the mall and I bought a leather jacket and a personalized hat with my name on it. After that we went to the Mill Rats game and they lost. But the good thing is that they showed my family and I on the big screen during the national anthem and my cousin Abby saw us. Then we went to Arby's and then watched a 3D Movie. It was Yogi bear. After we watched the movie we went back to the hotel. In the morning I was one of the first ones up. I felt like I just had a dead batterey and it got charged. So basicly I felt great. we a continental breakfast which was great. I had a pancake, ham and something else... I dunno.... well anyway after that we back for more shopping at costco, superstore and the mall. that was pretty much the end of my day other than getting on the boat and heading home.

Orthodontist Appointment And School Shopping

My mom sister and I woke up at 5:55 AM to go to away for my orthodontist appointment and go school shopping. First I got in the shower and got out. Then I got dressed, got packed and headed to the boat. On the boat I played pack man,went on my Ipod and ate.When we got off the boat we started driving towards Saint John. I read a magazine and played my on my Ipod touch on the way. When we got there we went shopping at staples for school supplies and I got a white backpack. and after that I went to the orthodontist. that was the worst time that I ever had there. Then I went out for more shopping a the the mall. When we were done we finally went to the boat. And guess what? We didn't make it on.  So we went to St. George and we went to the mall there. Then we went back to the boat and went home.
